As some of you have noticed, the live broadcast from Lahti Hall is DOWN at the moment. This is due to an equipment malfunction and the new equipment is being installed just this minute. So people, do not worry, the live feed is back up any minute now!

Oy KWC Organization Ltd (KWC) has officially assigned Misunderstood Media Group (MMG) and Karaoke Universe.net, exclusive broadcast, film, and ancillary rights for the 7th Annual Karaoke World Championships, being held September 11-12, 2009 in Lahti, Finland.

MMG will produce a live broadcast of this event, and will archive each segment for on-demand viewing worldwide on Karaoke Universe.net Online Network. “We are absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to produce the first live online broadcast of the KWC in the history of the event. Because of the size and diversity of the karaoke demographic worldwide, we anticipate a very large global audience for this two-day event, and we are excited about sharing the incredible talent on display at KWC with the world”.
