The Karaoke World Championships (KWC) regrets to confirm that the planned KWC Bangkok 2025 Finals were cancelled.
Our local partner responsible for organizing the event informed the main organizer that, due to an official period of mourning, the finals could not be held as planned. As a mark of respect, we made the difficult decision to cancel the event.
The follow-up process related to this cancellation is still ongoing. At the same time, we are actively preparing the next KWC season.
2026 Finals: Location and Dates to Be Confirmed
As a result of these unexpected circumstances, we are not yet able to confirm the location or dates of the next KWC Finals.
Singa Oy, the owner of KWC, is working to secure the strongest possible finals event for next year. However, it is possible that final confirmation of the host city and schedule will only be available around February 2026. We will share the details as soon as they are confirmed.
KWC Holiday Special 2025: A Positive Closing to the Year
Even though the Bangkok 2025 Finals could not take place, we still want 2025 to be remembered for what matters most in KWC: music, community, and joy.
The KWC Holiday Special 2025 brings together singers from around the world for a feel-good online celebration at the end of the year. It is a one-off global livestream celebrating the singers who were invited to the cancelled KWC Bangkok 2025 Finals.
