Hi my name is Christ Evander but you can call me Evan.
I'm originally from Indonesia, but I've been living in Japan for almost 9 years for education and work. In a way, Japan is my second home and it's an honor for me to represent Japan for this year's competition in Bangkok.
I started singing in church at the age of 6 and being surrounded by a family that shares the same passion is one of the reasons I still sing today.
Singing is part of my soul, my passion, and my medium to channel all of life's dilemmas. Therefore, I hope that what I sing can give a deep impression to everyone who hears it.
My first singing achievement was in 2017 where I became the grand champion of the International Singing Contest in Kariya City, Japan. And, runner up of Nagoya singing festival in 2020.
Finally, In this competition, I just want to do my best, share what I believe through singing, enjoy the moment and can't wait to meet other finalists from around the world.
