Karaoke World Championships Confirmed for Singapore in November 2015

It was announced today that The World Karaoke Championships will take place at the Azzura Beach Club in
Sentosa, Singapore in November 2015.

The announcement was made when Mr. Jalo Kotinurmi, Director, Karaoke World Championships Organization,
met with Mrs. Elle Quan, Director of Singapore-based KWC Asia Events Pte Ltd to finalize the contract.

“We are very excited to see the World Final return to Asia. Singapore is a beautiful country and a place where
karaoke is appreciated as a vehicle for an amateur singer to become professional one day. Based on our
experience from 2007 when Thailand hosted the World Final, we have nothing less but a wonderful event to
look forward to”, said Jalo Kotinurmi.

In excess of 40 countries are expected to participate in the Championships, which will take place from
November 20th to 22nd 2015. National trials are conducted in each participating country with the winners
competing in the International finals for the titles of male and female Karaoke World Champions. The
participants, along with their families, supporters and karaoke enthusiasts from all over the world are expected
to converge in Singapore for the event.

“KWC Asia team looks forward to welcoming country champions and their supporters at the 2015 world finals
which incidentally is Singapore’s 50th year celebration. It’s going to be a grand birthday bash with international
singing champions coming to celebrate with us on Sentosa Island – Asia’s favourite playground”, said Elle
Quan.

KWC Asia has already begun working with local tourist agencies to offer a variety of activities for the guests
wishing to take in the sights and experience the great offerings of Singapore’s premier island resort.

In November 2014, the World Final event was held in Stockholm, Sweden. Diana Villamonte from Panama and
Anthony Montius Magee from The United States were crowned Karaoke World Champions. They will also be
invited to perform as guests in Singapore. together with homegrown talent and KWC top Asian male finalist

Anthony Montius Magee said that winning the Karaoke World Championships was one of the biggest
moments in his life. “I’m humbled and overwhelmed, I never thought it would happen”, Anthony said.
