Thousands of singers from 25 countries worldwide participated in the national qualifiers throughout 2019, culminating in the selection of 43 finalists who competed in front of judges and a live audience at the 17th Karaoke World Championships at Tokyo’s majestic Kanda Myojin Shrine.
