KWC 2023 finals will be hosted by Val Monique and Luca Gargano

Val Monique is a Panamanian actress, singer-songwriter and bilingual voice-over artist. She is known for her trajectory amongst Panama City’s guilds of vocalists and musical theatre performers.

She has represented Panama in KWC twice: 2012 and 2019.

Val Monique has been nominated for her work in musical theater by Panama’s biggest Theater Awards, the “Premios Escena”, as "Revelation of the Year" in 2013. This year she was newly nominated as "Best Leading Actress" for her role as Agatha in the musical The Unforgettables. She has had roles in several musicals including Chicago, Rent, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Grease, Maestra Vida, Rabanes The Musical and Let’s Rock.

Luca Gargano is an artist-producer from Finland.

Prior to working for the karaoke company Singa and producing Karaoke World Championships he used to be a media personality working for national radio and TV. Nowadays Luca is in charge of the annual KWC finals and also the karaoke content inside the Singa platform.

He also MC’s events and festival stages, produces music in his home studio and performs live gigs. Luca has released two solo albums in English and three in Finnish and performed with several bands throughout his career.

Val and Luca will MC all the competition rounds in Salón Bella Vista of the Hotel El Panamá at the 2023 Karaoke World Championships finals.
