Originally hailing from the prairie flatland known as Winnipeg, Alison has now called Calgary home for over 25 years. When she’s not making life better for the great citizens of her beloved city as a civil servant, or bursting into song any chance she gets, you can usually find her with her husband of 16 years, and their teenage son. Traveling (once the world opens up again), spending time in the breathtaking Rocky Mountains (which are practically in her backyard), and reading voraciously are some of the things she enjoys doing. She is also incredibly proud and honoured to be representing Canada at the 2021 Karaoke World Championships, and hopes that she does her country proud!
